Cohorts and programs for challenges, workshops, camps and belt programs

Bright Canoe cohorts let a business run a fixed-length program with a start date, an end date and a capped group, such as a 6-week fitness challenge, a teacher training, a summer dance camp or a martial arts belt program, with a shareable enrollment page and a waitlist.

Cohort and program questions

Answers for businesses planning fixed-length programs.

What is the difference between a cohort and a class?

A class is a single session people drop into. A cohort is a program with a start and end date where the same group enrolls once and attends together.

Can a cohort have a waitlist?

Yes. When a cohort reaches its place limit, new sign-ups can join a waitlist.

Can I require a waiver or rules for a program?

Yes. Clients must accept your program rules to enroll online, and the wording, time and IP address are kept with the enrollment.

How many cohorts can I run for free?

The Free plan includes 2 cohorts. Paid plans include unlimited cohorts.
